Pitch Block

I think there should be a block that senses the pitch of the current noise. It would work really well in many projects, especially a project I am working on (beta released) called SoundWave, which is a voice recognition system.

Uses

My SoundWave project
A “Match My Pitch” program
AI That “Likes” certain music
A control in many games
Recording System
and many more…


Please consider this!

I think this actually was implemented at one point, but removed due to its complexity, great potential for error, and bugginess.

Hi fellow scratchers and MIT.
Recently I have been working on a project where i am making a recording thing.
i need to have the NOTE block from scratch 1.3.0 for it. I am ABSOLUTELY sure there is no work around to this. So (maybe in scratch 3.0) you can add this block. PLEASE. the only other option for me is getting scratch 1.3.0 WHICH DOES NOT EXIST ANYMORE. so please, PLEEAASSEE, add the NOTE block in 1.3.0. and if it gets laggy and buggy like in 1.3.0, then make it so when making a new project you can choose to enable/disable having that block.
