Cubing Term Definitions:
PB - your personal best time of solving a cube. PB stands for “personal best”
mo3 - the mean of three timed solves. mo3 stands for “mean of 3”. If 3 is replaced with a different number, it means “mean of that number”
ao5 - the average of five timed solves. ao5 stands for “average of 5” If 5 is replaced with a different number, it means “average of that number”
sq1 - sq1 is short for Square-1
Squan - squan is short for Square-1
Pyra - short for “pyraminx”
DNF - DNF stands for “did not finish”. If you finish a solve, but the cube is two or more turns away from being solved, the time counts as a DNF
+2 - if you finish a solve and the cube is one move away from being solved, you get a +2 and add 2 seconds to your original time
EP - EP is short for “edge permutation”
CP - CP is short for “corner permutation”
ZB - a method for solving 3x3
LL - LL is short for “last layer”
Algorithm - a series of moves (usually to solve a certain case)
ZBLL - the last layer method in ZB. Has around 500 algorithms.
CFOP - a method for solving 3x3
Roux - a method for solving 3x3
ZZ - a method for solving 3x3
Petrus - a method for solving 3x3
Yau - a method for solving big cubes
Hoya - a method for solving big cubes
Reduction Method - a method for solving big cubes
Begginers' Method - a method for solving 3x3 for begginers
Cross - the first step of CFOP and Begginers' Method
F2L - second step of CFOP. Short for “first 2 layers”. Solves the first and second layer at the same time
OLL - third step of CFOP. Short for “orienting last layer”
PLL - last step of CFOP. Short for “permuting last layer”
First Block - first step of Roux. In that step, you solve a 2x3x1 block
Second Block - second step of Roux. In that step, you solve a 2x3x1 block opposite of the first one
CMLL - third step of Roux. In that step, you orient and permute the corners
LSE - last step of Roux. Short for “last six edges”. Solves the last six edges. Same as L6E
L6E - last step of Roux. Short for “last 6 edges”. Solves the last 6 edges LSE
VLS - the act/method of inserting the last F2L pair into its slot using a different algorithm to also orient the last layer.
CubeShape - the step in solving a Square-1 (sq1, squan) where the puzzle becomes shaped like a cube
EO - short for “edge orientation,” used in methods such as Roux, ZZ, and Petrus
Winter Variation - a last slot method where when you insert the last F2L pair, it orients all top layer corners (useful when top edges are oriented)
WV - short for “Winter Variation” (above)
L4E - short for “last 4 edges.” Is a method for the pyraminx or the last step of that method
Parity - certain cases you can get on big cubes, usually requires a long algorithm to solve
M - sometimes put at the end of a cube name, short for “magnetic”
TheCubicle - a reliable cube shop. Find it here
SpeedCubeShop - a reliable cube shop. Find it here
SCS - short for “SpeedCubeShop” (above)

[DEAD, WELCOME TO MAKE NEW ONE] SCO II | Scratch Cubing Organization | The Official Rubik's Cube Forum
So I have a “special” Rubik's Cube that one of my relatives gave me as a gift from their trip to Rome. I can't find a picture of it, but it's different since there's a picture on one face that's made up of 9 squares and another face that's made up of 9 squares each with the same asymmetrical design. Basically, what I'm trying to say is that the cube has a picture where all 9 squares need to be the same orientation, and another face that's about the same thing. I want to know how much harder that makes it to solve. (It might make it harder because the squares need to be the same orientation, but maybe not because every “segment” contains a unique set of colors and none of them contain the same exact colors.)
This might still be confusing, so let me try to map out a net of the cube:
Y Y Y
Y Y Y
Y Y Y
R R R B B B O O O
R R R B B B O O O
R R R B B B O O O
1 2 3
4 5 6
7 8 9
G G G
G G G
G G G
Where, in this net, each number has to be in the same orientation and also be arranged correctly from 1 to 9, and each green square has to be in the same orientation. (All of the other color faces are normal, and the numbers replace the white.)

I'm dual_creator43, and I hope I've done well with anything. (Projects, forum replies, etc.) My Scratch habits include:
- checking my inbox
- being active in the forums
- working on my projects (sometimes)
My most famous quote: “Nothing good ever comes from posting near the end of a page.”
This is probably the best post anyone has ever made for me.
Don't you hate it when your signature isn't big enough to show everything you put in it?
But I guess it doesn't matter since you're (probably) using Shift+↓.

So, what else is worth talking about here? If anyone wants to give me some tips on how to solve my 2x2, then I'll try them out. I want to be the first person in the Beginner section of the Ability Groups.

How long have you liked cubing?: For about one week, then stopped… I just decided to look at this thread and see if anyone posts something interesting.
Anything else: A person with “octahedron” in her username posts in a thread about Rubik's cubes. Ironic.

The message above may contain wrong information, rude remarks, or something embarrassing to my current self. In this case, please ignore it and remember that I likely wrote it back when I didn't know what “respect” truly meant. I really hate thinking about it again.
