I have an excerpt from my story
Sandra

June 8 2013

This is my last year at Zelac Middleschool. I’m extremely nervous for next year. My BFF Julica said she might not be going to Yalice Highschool, that’s only going to make next year worst. But, something strange happened today, I found a stone. It was a weird shape though, a four leaf clover. When I picked it up it started glowing, bright green. I think it might be a child’s toy.


Sandra then leaped off her bed and hid her diary underneath the plantar on her window. She then went to call Julica. She called her but no answer instead she got,”Hey this is Julica, leave a message in 5 4 3 2 1!” Sandra then figured she would read. Sandra was in the middle of reading,”Tales of A Magical Hunt” Sandra’s favorite quote was when the main character says,” I suggest we risk it, if you don’t want to die.” About an hour later, Sandra had to go eat her dinner. That night they had an Irish meal. They ate in silence. After dinner Sandra went back upstairs. In her room she decided to turn that stone into a necklace. She pulled out a kit and started working at it. About 45 minutes later, she finished. After that she went to bed.

June 9 2013
I called Julica again, this time she picked up. She told me she was moving to the United Kingdom. I sat down and bawled for an HOUR. It takes 5 hours to get to the United Kingdom. She said she was leaving in the middle of July. I’m SUPER scared for highschool now. I had some strange luck today. At the mall they were holding a raffle and I had 15 tickets in and won all 15 prizes, strange. Then I got a 5 free boxes of 20 chocolates at Chewy Confections. I then got a free 100 dollar gift card to my FAVORITE cosmetics store. I then went to Forte and miraculously got a lifetime supply of slushies. Then I went home and my mom said I never had to do any chores again. I’m very confused about what’s happening all of the sudden but I kinda like it.

Suddenly her necklace was glowing. The same bright green it was before. And at that time a very mysterious letter flew into her window. It wasn’t white instead it was green. There was no stamp on it, nor address. When Sandra read the letter it said:

Dear Sandra,
That stone is no child’s toy, it is the Lucky stone of Ireland. Every country has one. It will give you luck when you have it with you. It has other powers, which I know you’ll discover soon. Use it well.
Sandra sat there in confusion. She was randomly holding her necklace high in the air, and at the same time she said,”I wish….” A leprachaun appeared. He asked,”What do you wish?” Sandra stared blankly at the leprachaun for a minute, then said,”A billion bucks?” He granted her wish and said,” Use it selflessly, not selfishly.” She thought for a minute and said,”I know! Donate some to charity.” She walked to a local charity from her house. She donated 10 million dollars. The lady was so happy she cried. Later, Sandra bought some nice things for Julica. She got her a necklace, IPhone Xs, dress, ring, phone case, pop socket, and a beautiful dress. Then Sandra decided to try the wish power again. She held the necklace high and said,”I wish!” The leprechaun appeared again and said,”What do you wish?” Sandra replied,”For Julica’s family to get a billion dollars!” The leprechaun granted the wish and said,”Selfless act, well done!” Sandra then got a call from Julica.
“We just got a billion dollars!”
“So did we!”
“We are actually staying since we have all this money!”
“REALLY! OH MY GOSH! Going to Yalice, right?”
“Yep, I gotta go bye”

Sandra was the happiest girl alive! Her best friend didn’t have to move anymore. It was getting late,
Sandra got in bed. She was laying there awake for hours thinking about that necklace.

June 12 2013
My necklace is magic, I don’t know what else it can do other than give me luck and call a leprachaun to grant my wishes. I am so exicted for August, then I can get all my school supplies. That’s my favorite time of the year. This time I’ll be able to get more expensive supplies rather than the dollar binder or 2 cents pencils. I am rather excited.

After that Sandra started playing around with her necklace. Her radio was on, it was stuck on,” Old Town Road” Sandra hates that song, and with frustration accidently burned the cord to her radio using the stone. It was late, she ended putting the fire out, and passing out.
