Suggestions To The Phone Number Filter
I made a forum about this awhile back (about allowing 555 numbers) but I realized that 555 numbers actually can be real numbers nowadays, so I decided to create a new forum with a different suggestion.
SInce all of these suggestions are very much related, I’m making them all in one post so that I don’t spam the forums with multiple phone number filter suggestions.
So, I believe comments that are all the same number shouldn’t be blocked, since chances are that’s not a phone number (such as 11111111). I mean it could be someone’s number, but most likely when someone says it they’re not trying to share their number. And things like 123456789 shouldn’t be blocked for the same reasons. And, a one with a bunch of zeroes probably shouldn’t be blocked, since again that probably won’t be a phone number.
Also, wasn’t there a song in which the title was just a bunch of numbers? I don’t remember the exact number, but perhaps it should be allowed to be said in case someone wanted to talk about the song.
Let me know what you think :3

Suggestions To The Phone Number Filter
I think it's a matter of “better safe than sorry”.
As you state, 111-111-1111 could be someone's number. As a result, we might not want to allow it on the Scratch website.
Another issue that comes from this is precisely when someone manages to find someone's number like this. They could post it and claim that they “were just listing random numbers”. I don't think that would really bode well.
The phone number sensor can be a bit annoying, but I don't think we need to change it to allow certain cases. I don't really see much of a benefit to this.
Is it the song that goes like “867-5309”? It's a catchy tune. Regardless, this is safe from the phone number sensor since it's less than 10 digits long.

(Yep that’s the song I meant) I think it's a matter of “better safe than sorry”.

Hm, true. But I’ve seen lots of users getting confused when they got blocked from saying 123456789. Perhaps when the number gets blocked they could explain what caused it to be replaced with the X? Eg “your comment was filtered due to possibly containing a phone number.” (If the way they replaced the text has changed let me know, I haven’t seen one of these comments in awhile)

They still do get replaced with X's. (Yep that’s the song I meant)

I think a message stating that the phone number sensor blocked the number would be a pretty good idea. It could help explain to users what's going on when their comment has turned into a bunch of X's.

Suggestions To The Phone Number Filter
I remember one time I was telling someone something along the lines of “You deserve 1000000 followers!” and it got censored out and I was so confused. If they said why it was replaced I wouldn’t have been so confused. (Though I feel that numbers like that should be allowed since I doubt that’s a phone number. Or if it is, it’s one of the easiest to remember.)They still do get replaced with X's. (Yep that’s the song I meant)

And I’m pretty sure that Griffpatch’s current amount of followers would trigger the filter XP. Not too big of a deal, but kind of funny. Maybe that’s Griffpatch’s phone number… O-O. (Please don’t take this seriously)

I'm pretty sure phone numbers are only 8-10 digits long, and Griffpatch's follower count is at 6 digits. That would be an epic bruh moment if it did get blocked though. …

The phone number sensor will only censor numbers that are 10 or 11 digits long (I just checked on my profile). As a result, not too many numbers are affected by the filter. And I’m pretty sure that Griffpatch’s current amount of followers would trigger the filter XP.
