More settings in the Scratch desktop installer

A small suggestion, but I think it would be an important one. I noticed how bare-bones the Scratch desktop installer was. All you do is run it and then it does the rest.

However, I would like to have an option where I can have a bit more control, like whether to create the Start Menu shortcuts, whether to create a desktop shortcuts, where I want it installed, and what components I want; since right now it is such a hassle to locate the installation directory, and even then, the installer doesn't even tell me where it is. Of course, since Scratch is also kid-friendly, this wouldn't have to be mandatory. What I'm suggesting is that there will be a default mode (automatically selected) where the user doesn't have to input anything, and an advanced mode, where the user can control the exact parameters for install.

Infrequently active.

It feels weird to see how far we've come. I hope you're well, wherever you are!
