not for everyone. it's a rating scratch team members give projects if they almost (but don't) break the guidelines.
the rating isn't visible, but if a project is nfe it won't show up in search results.

It also can’t get to the front page in any way.

technically it does put it at the top of the stickies, but it is still pointless.

As pointed out like 15 pages ago, please don't argue over bumping stickies, and don't bump stickies in the first place.

https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/795797/ (buttons for “support”, “semi-support” and “no support” for suggestions) was rejected, might be worth mentioning under 9.6 that this is also rejected.

here is a new mock up for 6.1 in the list

6.1 delete your comments everywhere or edit your comments everywhere
The inability to delete your comments everywhere is put in place so users do not post inappropriate comments or spam comments on other users' profiles, projects, or studios, just to delete them later on. In contrast, you are not really likely to spam your own projects or profile. The only benefits to this are to remove comments that you did not mean to post and to fix spelling errors. The former could be solved by thinking carefully before posting any comments, and the latter could be worked around by typing slowly and/or stating your mistakes in a reply to the comment. This also applies to forum posts; that is, a feature for Scratchers to delete their own forum posts will not be implemented. This suggestion extends to the ability to delete your own comments even if nobody has seen them yet.

Editing comments could similarly lead to comment manipulation, such as a user commenting "I like this project," waiting until someone replies with "I agree," and then editing the original comment to say "I hate this project." Allowing Scratch Team members to view the edit history of a comment does not make it easy to moderate, since then they have to look carefully at the context of each edit, which takes time.

edit1: i fixed the post

edit2 : i linked a better post

edit3 : i made the post have no separate suggestions

edit4: i updated it

I think you can still create a “Go to middle” custom block like this:
Go to middle
define Go to middle
go to x: (0) y: (0)
But the scratch team may add restrictions to the custom blocks too.

No, the ST is not going to add restrictions to custom blocks to prevent them from being used to replicate rejected blocks; suggestions are rejected because they are not worth adding or would cause problems, not because we want to cause qualiity-of-life issues.

Scratch crashing scripts are banned, not rejected. Those are entirely separate concepts

Thanks. Has this been rejected before? It seems like it would be a popular suggestion, so I'm wondering if Scratch Team members have said something about this before.

Despite that, I am a little hesitant to add it to the list. Discussion of NFE is not exactly meant to be public, so I don't know if it's a good idea to put it on this list.

i found a way to make the post links shorter than /post/:

Since using the /post/ links are easy to do and have no problems associated with them, I think that is what I will continue to use. I don't think we're in danger of reaching the character limit in the OP anytime soon. But thanks anyway.

Thanks. I've seen this suggestion once or twice, but I'm tempted to leave it off the list for now because I don't think it's super-popular. Let's see if people keep suggesting it.

This just sounds like a poll in the forums, and is directly rejected; I don't think a separate note is required.

Thanks, but I think I will not make these edits. Your link for “delete your comments everywhere” does not lead to a Scratch Team member's post explaining the rejection. I don't really see the suggestion of “delete comments as a studio host” being a solution to this, as this is not exactly a method of deleting your own comments. That is, this seems like a separate suggestion.

Yes. I was traveling for the past few days and could not reliably update the list at that time. I got back yesterday evening and was spending time with family for the rest of the night.

@8to16, let me once again remind you about three things:
 • I typically check the list every weekend on either Friday, Saturday, or Sunday at potentially different times. So there should not be any expectation of which day I check the list or what time of day I check the list. If it seems that I usually check the list on a certain day/time, that doesn't mean I will always check the list on that day/time.

 • There is actually no expectation that I need to check the list every week, so on rare occasion I may skip a week due to certain circumstances. If this happens, that is fine and nothing worth sending reminders about.

 • If it seems that I am not checking the list, it doesn't make sense to point that out in this thread, because if I am not checking the thread then I will not see any reminders made on the thread.
Please only send a reminder if a full calendar month has passed since I last posted in this thread, and send such a reminder on my profile.
