The Official List of Rejected Suggestions
(#9360)Please stop suggesting to add things to Scratch on TOLORS. Zachary isn't a member of the scratch team, and even then, the ST almost never checks here to see what suggestions are made. If you have any suggestions leave them on a new topic
Please add(join [online engine] [9])
also i dont care if i'm king of the page

What are you talking about? It's an octagon, it's the correct shape(#9357)firstly it's an octagon, not a pentagon (this is a bit of a nitpick)
Hello, Scratch Team. Please add new blockwhen @stopSign clicked::events hat

TABLE OF CONTENTS… No dark mode yet it still isn't here…
This is a concise version of the main list of rejected suggestions. Along with it are short reasons that each suggestion is rejected, in case you do not feel like reading paragraphs of text.
(long unnecessary quote removed by moderator - please don't spam)
10.3 Remove restricted image hosts or add your own websites – too easy to share inappropriate content

The Official List of Rejected Suggestions
Hard to say; I'm still tempted not to add it to the list. Note that the non-closed one appears to be suggesting only for certain other links to be clickable; I don't think that is rejected, it seems that it is rejected to just make all links clickable. This:
https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/526129/
https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/744777/ (Somehow this isn't closed)
https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/792336/
https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/774869/
May tell you this is a popluar suggestion
rejectedThat's not rejected, it's just not a specific suggestion. Pretty sure this is
I added something about this to 1.4. It's short but gets the job done. I think you should clarify in the social action block section that<loved? :: sensing>
<favorited? :: sensing>
are rejected. not particularly neccasary but may be nice.
https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/794067/This is already on the list; see 8.3. What about this?
This wouldn't work because it would be difficult to approve them, and even if a browser extension gets approved, that doesn't prevent the creator from making malicious code for it. About the browser extension policy thing, what if instead, the ST has to manually approve browser extensions as trusted for them to be mentioned?
https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/794069/?page=1#post-8275884Thanks. I probably don't need to add it to the list for now.
https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/794383/Another one bites the dust.
https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/794509/?page=1#post-8279934Thanks; both seem “obviously rejected” so I don't think I need to add them to the list. oh also, removing website names from the filter is rejected:

This is also the offical list of rejected suggestions, not a suggestions topic. if you want to create a suggestion, go to the suggestions forum and create a new topic there if it isn't already rejected Please add(join [online engine] [9])

Solutions are allowed, but username changing has a bit of issues
The way Scratch stores usernames would make moderation difficult. Plus, people would change their username to avoid punishment or to pretend to be someone else. If you can solve these, then you can make a suggestion
No, people can't escape being banned because the scratch team usually bans people using their IP address.

I kind of agree because recently there has been spammers and if there are spammers to avoid getting deleted they can just change the username, so I agree with you

I propose removing the ban on adding an option to change your username
A small addition to what I'm proposing is an algorithm that saves your old usernames to make moderation easier, while still allowing you to change your username.

(#9376)they seem to be spamming in general, the text after the quote is not meaningful or understandable at all. even if someone did understand it, it's definitely not related to TOLORS or any rejected suggestions.please do not quote the entire op -snip-
makes sense anyways. they have publicly said that they are just 9. which is pretty young, and most forum posts by younger people don't really contribute anything useful to the discussion. they might get better at it as they get more mature though.

(#9378)oops didn't read carefully.
i think hes trying to say that he will report to be sticked (even though it is already)
she probably overlooked the fact it was already a sticky, but still read the “Reported to be stickied” posts from many years ago.
her profile states she's female.

Obviously, ST would eventually be able to find the user, however, no. ST does not usually use IP bans. IP bans are a last resort. They're only used if a user is repeatedly disrespecting Scratch and it's simply safer to ban the IP they're using. Schools use Scratch, and they wouldn't want to prevent those innocent scratchers from using Scratch if one person isn't following the rulesSolutions are allowed, but username changing has a bit of issues

Alas, sometimes it still must be done, but ST doesn't IP ban a lot
