You can do it without a converter by changing the file name extension from sb2. to .sb3

You haven’t actually tried that, it doesn’t work, and that would be the reverse of what this converter does.

Wait, what happens when you convert a sb3 that has a cloud variable? will it keep it or will it be replaced with a normal one?

Cloud variables should be converted correctly (I haven't really tested it thoroughly, but there is code to make it work), but Scratch 2.0 can't connect to the cloud anymore anyway.

I have never used python before. Could someone explain how I convert sb3 to sb2 files? Pretend like I'm a 5-year-old.
