Is there a way to use this converter without Python?

Thank you very much! I prefer 2.0 over 3.0 because of all the features it doesn't have that 2.0 does.

Can we convert sb2 to sb3? i was working on stuff on tosh, but tosh only saves in sb2. so then i can't use that in today scratch.

Scratch 3.0 automatically converts sb2 to sb3; otherwise existing 2.0 projects wouldn't run on the website

Install Python 3.7 (the process is just like installing any other program), then double-click on the sb3tosb2.py file. This should open the file with Python. If this doesn't work, try right-clicking on the file, go to “Open with,” then select “Python.”

You can do that with any file, but it doesn't change the format of the contents, so Scratch 2.0 won't be able to understand it

It's like taking a sentence from a different language, “Soy un ejemplo de una frase en otro idioma,” saying that it's in English, and asking an English-speaker to understand it
