Increase clone limit
I was trying to make a bullet hell but the 301 clone limit restrict my ablilty
back then the limit was set as computing power was limited
but with modern pc and html5 powered scratch 3.0 this restriction is a bit dated

The clone limit is introduced to prevent excessive lagging and crashes. Without the limit, one could potentially make a project intended to crash someone else's Internet browser.
I think 301 clones is a good amount of clones.

I do wonder that with 3.0, at least at some point that will be less of an issue. Just hopefully there aren't too many project that rely on the clone limit, for compatibilities sake. Personally it might be nice to see a slight increase, there are times when it's just not enough and I have to result to stamping instead. Maybe around 500? I don't think a modern PC with modern browser will be crashed this easily.2000 is quite a considerable amount

No support. 3.0 is already way more laggy than 2.0, and it was at least slightly reasonable, even in 2.0.I do wonder that with 3.0, at least at some point that will be less of an issue. As of right now there are certain performance problems with 3.0. There are also plenty of things that run faster with 3.0. Given time, once all the bugs are worked out and everything has been optimised, 3.0 should run a lot better than 2.0. So going just off performance I don't see why the limit couldn't be increased. No support. 3.0 is already way more laggy than 2.0, and it was at least slightly reasonable, even in 2.0.I do wonder that with 3.0, at least at some point that will be less of an issue. I don't exactly have a list of features that run better or worse, but I've had plenty of projects run a lot better for me. Pen, and especially stamping is a lot quicker than it was in 3.0. The performance of 2.0 is set it won't get any better. While the performance of 3.0 should continue to improve. Can I see one? There are also plenty of things that run faster with 3.0.No support. 3.0 is already way more laggy than 2.0, and it was at least slightly reasonable, even in 2.0.I do wonder that with 3.0, at least at some point that will be less of an issue. After 6 weeks, this is the 1st post that's ever said that
Have you got one link to one project that shows this?
