Large Scale Parallax Sidescroller Demo! *** NEW - NOW WITH ZOMBIES ***


Check this out – here is a working demo of my new large scale, parallax sidescroller. Its built ontop of a full RPG engine (see the Far Lands RPG), so I am going to use this to build some fun games in the near future!

This is excellent! You could just work on getting it smoother! A tip the jumping could be made with gravity like this, pls try this:

define setback_position {without screen refresh}
repeat until <not<touching color [#4c245c] ?>>
change y by [1]
end
when green flag clicked
forever
if <not<touching color [#4c245c] ?>> then
change [gravity] by (-1)
end
if <key [space] pressed?> then
set [gravity] to [13]
end
if <not<touching color [#4c245c] ?>> then
change y by (gravity)
end

say to me if it fails

Thanks @another_one_2! yep smoothness can definitely be improved. I will investigate using your gravity strategy!

Oh i mean i have another one script but im not sure this not fails it's depending on the rest of the game.
