I recently realized that the Sans Serif font in the costume editor has serifs in the letter I:

I guess it's supposed to differentiate the capital I from the lowercase L. This doesn't really bother me that much, but it's inconsistent.

I think it's for the reason you mentioned. It's a pretty good idea - I get confused myself.
