Playing Costumes That aren't in order in order

Hello, so I recently made a video and exported into photos (about 30kb each). Problem is there are 1441 of them and scratch jumbles them up when you try to import them into a sprite. I found a way to import 2 at a time rather than 1, (by selecting the 2nd photo and then the first), but it doesn't work with any more than 2. I could just import 1441 photos by hand, but this would be painfully slow.
Any help or more efficient way of importing would be awesome!

Note: Each frame(photo) is named with a 00X number on the end. I was thinking we could make use of scratches new “”apple contains a“” operator.

I've never had to do this, but I believe you can convert the video/photos into a gif and then import the gif and it will be in the right order. I'm not sure if you can import gif in 3.0 yet though…

I've had trouble with this before and I think I just ended up manually reordering them. I didn't have more than a hundred photos though. You might be able to select the photos backwards and get them in the right order. Try selecting the last one then shift clicking one further up.

Ive tried this, however it only works with 2 for some reason. Anyway, thanks for the suggestion of using a GIF. Ill try that

Can you import into Scratch 2 offline and upload the sprite or project to Scratch online?

Hi! Thanks for your reply. Yeah, I've been editing my project in the Scratch 2.0 Offline editor, and have decided to convert all photos into jpegs and manually import them.
