I don't understand how to do this, when ever i save it it turns into an empty folder. pls help.

Currently, you aren’t able to download audio from 3.0. The Scratch team plans to add this.

You can do it a roundabout way by downloading the project, renaming the .sb3 file to a .zip, opening the zip and extracting any .mp3 files. They will be named weird though.

Eg.
1. Download project.sb3 using the file menu
2. Rename project.sb3 to project.sb3.zip
3. Open the zip file
4. Extract all of the sound files. They will be named gibberish like dsjhk3j22u092339kdji.mp3
5. Figure out which file is which and rename them.

You could of course just wait until they add audio downloading again though.
