I cannot find the import button to add a picture from my computer to my sprite in the sprite editor. Where is it? Has it been removed from Scratch in the 3.0 update, or is it just really hard to find?

If you hover over the cat face, you could click “Upload Sprite”. Next, click the sprite you want. Press Ctrl+C / Cmd+C to copy, then go to the first costume, press Ctrl+V / Cmd+V to paste.
