Speed Based Glide Block
The glide block in scratch is time based. “Have this glide to these coordinates in this amount of time”. What if there was a block in scratch that was like this: “Have this glide to these coordinates with this speed”? I made a project called “Proportional Glide Script” which is how I think it should work. It's a lot more convenient to have a block that does it instead of having to put in all of the scripts. I hope you consider the idea!

Speed Based Glide Block
I would like this, the workaround's pretty hard. This would make gliding look more “natural” in my opinion.
Mockups:
I also think the speed should be how many 5 pixels per second.
Mockups:
glide to [mouse-pointer v] with speed [] :: motion
glide to x: [] y: [] with speed [] :: motion
I also think the speed should be how many 5 pixels per second.

Speed Based Glide Block
Block ideas, block ideas!
glide with speed (10) to x: (0) y: (0):: motion // Design 2 (the better design)This would be nice for smooth animations.

AI isn't being added to Scratch anytime soon. If you want to, you could also read this related essay, which was not made by me.
I also found the earliest mention of Scratch 4.0 on the forums.

Speed Based Glide Block
Block ideas, block ideas!I don't see how the 1st and 3rd design would be useful.glide (1) secs to x: (0) y: (0) with speed (10):: motion // Design 1This would be nice for smooth animations.
glide with speed (10) to x: (0) y: (0):: motion // Design 2
glide with speed (10) to x: (0) y: (0) for (1) secs:: motion // Design 3

Speed Based Glide Block
Oh, okay. the 1st and 3rd designs were just ideas for another block that could go with this block.Block ideas, block ideas!I don't see how the 1st and 3rd design would be useful.glide (1) secs to x: (0) y: (0) with speed (10):: motion // Design 1This would be nice for smooth animations.
glide with speed (10) to x: (0) y: (0):: motion // Design 2
glide with speed (10) to x: (0) y: (0) for (1) secs:: motion // Design 3
And I won't be suggesting that because that would be a duplicate of this.

Speed Based Glide Block
Block ideas, block ideas!Design 1 & 3 dont really make sense.glide (1) secs to x: (0) y: (0) with speed (10):: motion // Design 1This would be nice for smooth animations.
glide with speed (10) to x: (0) y: (0):: motion // Design 2
glide with speed (10) to x: (0) y: (0) for (1) secs:: motion // Design 3
And you can already sort of make a faster speed by shortening the time you want them to glide so this might not be useful as its already basically implemented. If you don't know what i mean:
glide (10) secs to x: (x) y: (y)//would take longer so it would be slowerbut if you really need precise speeds, then this could be useful i guess.
glide (2) secs to x: (x) y: (y)//would take the least amount of time so it would be faster
