so I wanted to save an unshared project and the message “project could not save. try again or download” kept appearing when I tried to click on “save now”.
my os is windows 10 (part of the windows nt series) and i am using chrome.

Same this must be recent

I think this is an issue with the scratch servers at the moment. As it was working fine just before and then it stopped working around the same time comments also stopped loading for me. So we'll just have to wait it out.

Are you still having trouble saving? If so, can you download the project to your computer?

I have also experienced the “project could not save” error, it began happening when I imported a long (10 min) mp3 file. When I replaced it with a shorter (2 min) mp3 file, I was able to save once again.

Is your internet working properly?

I have tried, yet failed. I have a project (MCSM) and its 127mb. I dunno if thats too long but maybe thats the prob.

I believe this happens if you disconnect from wifi while it's saving, it'll glitch out and won't save even if you're connected back to wifi

I've been connected the whole time and my project won't save according to these very specific circumstances:
My project is a remix.
My project does not contain large data files or lists.
My project will not save regardless of where if I load it from my computer or if I upload a sound.

This has also happened to me but it fixes itself after while. It's definitefly not my internet connection because I can still browse as usual.

I made a big project and when I was ready to share it I got that problem. i've gotten it before, but I just tried again and it worked…

I eventually got mine to work - I had to backpack all the items from the sb3 file upload project into the remix.

when green flag clicked

Now I am encountering the problem again on a different project, only this time when I try to backpack the assets, I get a loading backpack error.
I suppose it could do with the fact that the audio I'm using is in the .wav format, although I would like to keep it that way because it is a song I made and I would like it to be in high quality. I didn't have this specific issue before, though. It's only a two minute song, too.

The problem is back slashes so if you get rid of them it will save
