how to add tags in scratch 3.0

when i click around the same Y-axis as a tag in a project i shared, i don't get to create a new tag.

my siggy will protects the kumquats from doing whatever kumquats do… what exactly do they do? hold on lemme ask the scratch wiki
what? all they do is eat siggies? what a boring job. WE NEED TO GIVE MORE JOBS TO KUMQUATS!!!!!! #JOBSFORKUMQUATS

Oh no! A kumquat ate my totally legit reviews of those games! What a bummer.

Scratch 3.0 was rushed, and because of that, is missing a ton of features. You can check out this thread that explains everything.

Tags were removed as they weren't widely used, but we are working on a big return for tags by moving to proper #hashtag support in the near future. :-)
There's still lots of features to be added.

Witty signature.

As commented above tags were removed because they weren't widely used. #hashtags are still in progress, but you can already start using them in project notes and instructions. If you add #hashtag in the text it will link to a search query for that tag (for viewers of your project). If you add @mentions (e.g. @ScratchCat) to project notes and instructions it will automatically link to the user's profile.

Yeah, I was kinda bummed, but I'm totally glad that we're getting them back.

I see that other people's #hashtags go blue, but mine don't seem to. Can you just not see your own tags or am I doing something wrong?

Please don't post on old, resolved topics. That is called necroposting and isn't allowed.
