I'm impressed… and 3.0 really does make my games run faster… but in other areas in ruins some of my animations and fonts… can I have some help?

this is like a console on release day. There will be a lot of defects, but at least It is fixed eventually.

I was informed by “The Team” that a new Offline editor would be available when version 3 was released.

Reason:

I am a Linux Mint user and Adobe (in their infinite wisdom) has dropped their support for Adobe Air for Linux. That was when Mint was at Version 17. I managed to tweak it when I upgraded to version 18 (my current version) and Scratch 2.0 ran flawlessly.

Mint is now up to version 19. Scratch 2.0 will not install. For the last 6 months (at least) I have held off upgrading my computer on the premise that the new editor would be available. I realise that Scratch 3.0 has just been released, and the offline editor may not be ready yet, but I would appreciate knowing when it may be ready.
