Well there's the search bar that you can use to find users if you know their username.
No I don't make projects anymore. I left some time ago.
I only check the forums every now and then, but other than that consider me retired.

Me and my friends tried but it won't find any of us!It usually takes more than a week and a half to index everything on the website for the search. Please be patient.
In the meanwhile you can always use “scratch.mit.edu/users/Name.Goes.Here”.
