I need help. A lot of help. My animated series, Cyber, didn't work out for me. So I decided that I would make a new one, with better art, animation, and design in general.

You can also find the usernames of participating Scratchers who you can talk to. They're super awesome and will answer any questions you have. I recommend @Rosaberii, she helped me set up the official studio! But they're all equally awesome. Seriously, don't be afraid.

Section 1: What this is about
So, I decided to make this series after realizing my last one wasn't so good. And I had a general idea of a story. The series will be called Dawn. The basic plot is that several thousand years after an outbreak of a disease that killed 99% of humanity, men and women are finally starting to get back to the point where they were after the Shutdown (the name for the disease.) The story is told from the point of a girl named Mira. The script for Ep. 1 will be released once we have a full cast of characters, artists, designers, and much more.

There is a wait list in case anyone drops out. This usually happens, so if you're on the wait list, don't panic because you still might get to have a job.

The two main characters are filled. I am playing a secondary character.

Section 2: What your job would be
There are many jobs open for people. I will go over every single one in this section. It's kinda long because I made lists of people participating in case you want to follow them and for general organization.

VOICE ACTORS:
EPISODE 1 ONLY
In Ep. 1, we will need approximately 20 voice actors. So far, here's the list. I will edit this section as I get more. There are no requirements for this section.
PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE NO MORE FEMALE SPOTS. IF YOU ARE FEMALE AND WOULD LIKE TO VOICE ACT, I WILL PLACE YOU ON THE WAIT LIST IN CASE SOMEONE DROPS OUT. THE WAIT LIST IS ENDLESS SO DON'T GET SCARED THAT EVEN THE WAIT LIST WILL BE FUL. LOL

Copper Keenway // 18// Scruffy dark brown hair, hazel eyes, tan skin, freckles, wears a grey t-shirt underneath a worn green hoodie.// basically hates everyone, parents died in the shutdown, only her and her little brother (down below) survived. She's super bitter about that, and doesn't really trust anyone. She loves her little brother to pieces, and protects him at all costs. She lives in a super run-down apartment building, and tries to keep away from the outside world. acts like she's all tough, but she usually cries at the end of the day.//

Allio:
Allio Keenway (Ally)// 7// Dark brown hair, green eyes, kinda pale skin, wears jeans and a red ‘Superguy’ shirt.// Positive, tries to make his older sister happy, but fails, looks up to her, but is a bit rebellious. To young to remember his parents, but listens to Coppers stories with crazy attention.//

Gum:
Name: Gum //age unknown//
Description: A gold teddy bear who is fluffy. Has a few stitches, some dust patches are seen on his ‘skin’. Can talk.
Bio: Gum is a robot teddy which is found by Allio on the street. Is his good buddy and helps him with any hard jobs. Allio calls him ‘Gummy’. Tries to help Allio calm Copper down often but doesn’t succeed much. Grants someone a wish if Gum sees him or her do a good deed. However, Gum declines to grant wishes that are bad or inappropriate. Cracks Allio up whenever he is sad. Loves cookies and people being happy.


CHARACTER DESIGNERS (FULL):
Sorry, but character designers are now full. If you want to be a character designer, I'll waitlist you, but these people have already gotten in. If one of them needs to step out, the first waitlisted person will step in.
As a character designer, you make a name, description and bio, but do not actually draw the character. You must send a link to a sample story you've written, but that is the only requirement. When you are done designing, either post the name, description, and bio in this forum topic or share a project with the above and post it in this thread. I will review it and approve or temporarily reject it. I will not permanently reject a character, I'll just give some improvement guidelines to it. There are fifteen spots available for this, or you can be put on the wait list. You can make one character per episode. Characters may appear infrequently in episodes.

Being an artist is one of the hardest and coolest jobs. There are three requirements to being an artist: You must be able to draw in vector. You must have drawn before. You must send two links to art YOU have done. Remixes are not accepted, but the links can be to ATs or ARs that YOU have drawn. If you submit someone else's art, even if it is through an AT or AR, it won't count.
Artists must draw the characters that character designers design, or occasionally body parts of characters (for the most trusted artists). There are up to ten spots available, or you can be put on the wait list.

Section 3: Our Tutorial Services!!
Well, now we're offering tutorial services for people who want to brush up on their skills or help people get better. This is an optional service and don't hesitate to ask if you want to be tutored or tutor other team members. I will accept anyone on the team. If you aren't on the team, you have to sign up to do something before tutoring. If you want to be tutored before joining, I (@StarlightJenna) can reserve a spot in what you want to do for you. No one else will take it during the time you are being tutored. If you're already signed up and want to be tutored, you keep your spot in what you want to do for the series. Below is a list of learners and tutors. Please check the status on the tutors before asking to learn with one of them.

Section 4: Advertising: What to do
If you want to advertise this animated series, I highly encourage it, but first, you should probably read this guide.
1. Pick a nice scratcher who you know.
Bugging famous people with comments won't get you anything but annoyance. Try posting a friendly comment on some of your followers' profiles. Make the comment different for each of the people, but always include a link to this topic in it.
2. Don't repeat the comment.
Don't post the same comment over and over and over again on one profile. It will NOT work. Believe me.
3. Be nice to people.
If they say no, just say something like “OK! Thank you anyway and Scratch on!” That's what I do and it will help maintain your friendship with the user you posted the comment on.

Section 5: What I'm looking for
So there are a lot of things I'm looking for. Vector art is the only art that I will accept and must be pretty good. Art also can be imported from another program. Voice acting should not be sounding like a robot, because it's not a robot, it's a person. What I DON'T want to hear is something sounding like text-to-speech from 3.0. I am also looking for creative bios and a good name for characters. For art, it would be great if it can look like mine, since we don't want ten different styles of art (how confusing!) It would be wonderful if you can meet these requirements.

Another important thing is activity. Everyone in this series must be active or they will be put on the wait list at the bottom. Inactive voice actors will have backups voice for a while until they are reactive. Inactive character designers don't matter as long as they have designed at least 1 character. Inactive animators will be put at the bottom of the wait list, as this is the most important and is kind of nerve-racking for the other animators.

Section 6: If you don't want any of those jobs
If you don't want to do any of the jobs up there, you can help in other ways!!
I'll list some things we're trying to do, and you can use your mind to help!
- We need more people signing up for voice acting. There are four male actors needed.
- We need more animators.
- We need an easy way to talk to all of the members. I suggest a new account for all of us to share.
- If you are a member of the studio, you remember when we tried to make a team account?
Well, if any of you can make a one-time email address to use to sign up and confirm the account, then it would be SUPER helpful. I'm not allowed to do it because my mom says don't just make a random one, and if one of you could try and do it for the account dawn-team (ask for password on my profile) , it would be EPIC!!

Script will be out when we have ALL spots filled and some on the wait list, so please advertise this (kindly) to people. If they say on their profile they don't like advertising, don't, and if they respond with some form of “please don't advertise,” don't advertise again. If you have some close friends or IRL friends on Scratch, those people would be the best to reach out to. Don't spam famous scratchers like @griffpatch or @Rosyda though. They don't need it and probably won't get back to you.

Hey, can I voice act as Mira? What voice does she have? If you think my voice is cringy, may I be an artist? I can draw well on vector but you just don't see me do it a lot since I prefer bitmap (ikr, i'm weird) and do less vector. You're welcome. I suggest doing trees and things for now, since you just shared your first project, and maybe in Ep. 2 you can branch out to more.
One thing I suggest you could try is watching a tutorial for vector eyes. How you draw them is great, really, but I suggest maybe improving the quality.
