Is it possible to be signed into a Scratch account on multiple devices?

I know I should probably try this but my Kindle died and I can't go on the computer now.
Anyways, is it possible to be signed in to one Scratch account on multiple devices? Like I'm typing this while I'm on my phone, but would it be possible to sign in on another device, for example, my Kindle? Or would I not be able to sign in?

I would think so, but you'd likely get signed out on the other device you were on.

For instance, if I logged on with my phone, and then logged on with my laptop, I'd likely get signed out on my phone.

Okay, thank you.

But what about if you just stay logged in on one device, and open another device with the same account, except close the tab on the first device you logged into?
(Sorry if that was confusing)

I still think it would sign out.

Yeah. For example I am logged into my phone and iPad and laptop all at once sometimes, or only on one.

I am signed in on my Kindle and computer, and it never signs me out. But, if I sign in on a third device, it will kick me out on my computer and Kindle.

Sometimes I can stay signed in on my laptop and my phone at the same time, and sometimes I can't. I have no idea how it all works.

This is my forum signature! On a forum post, it is okay for Scratchers to advertise in their forum signature. The signature is the stuff that shows up below the horizontal line on the post. It will show up on every post I make.

I was a Scratch Team member from May 10th 2019 to October 29th 2021.

I always get logged off on the other device when I switch between my laptop and mobile.

It is possible to have multiple devices logged into one account, but the catch is that you have to log into the devices from the same internet connection and same IP address.

The Scratch website will force log-off any open session if you log in from a different IP (a security measure since most of our users use Scratch in school; this way, when a user logs in from home, any potential open sessions on a shared school computer are terminated). But logins from the same IP address don't raise a red flag, so those sessions aren't usually terminated.

So if you use a different internet connection to log in (or if you use the same internet connection, but your ISP assigned you a different IP from the last time you logged in), then Scratch will terminate the other sessions. Otherwise, if you log in from the same connection with the same IP, then you might be able to get multiple devices connected.

Sadly, my forum signature was eaten by an evil kumquat.

Okay, thank you very much!
I'm glad to hear about the force log out because I was using a school Chromebook one time (it was a classroom one, so anyone could use it) and Google wasn't working very well, so I couldn't sign out of my Scratch account! I got really worried becuase I thought other people would get into my account but I luckily got Google to work and signed out. So now I know that I'll get signed out if that happens again.
