Sorry, what is wrong with 2.5D?There are a lot of very nice and elaborate projects: There seems to be a lot of 3d games but are actually are 2.5d. It is a rank discourtesy to actual 3d projects in Scratch.https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/5744621/

That's a matter of personal opinion. They are good but actual 3d is better

Many of my favourite projects are 3D projects. Only a fraction of the Scratch community is capable of creating such projects and I admire their creators for their ingenuity.
On the other hand, 2.5D projects can create a kind of three-dimensionality with very simple means. These projects are based on a clever idea and many Scratch projects would not be possible without this method.
I, therefore, don't understand why the two concepts should be played off against each other.
