You all know that scratchers (not new scratchers) are able to send images in a forum post.
But for now, it's not possible in any comments section (profiles, projects or studios).

However, when people discuss together, they could want so send pictures to illustrate their conversation.

Since discuss topics are forbidden in the forum, it could be usefull to be able to send images somewhere else.

I'm conscient that adding this feature to profiles or projects would be a source of spam, that xould be annoying for the concerned user.

But studios have more rules : there are curators, managers, and even a check box that allows (or not) everyone to add projects to the studio.

So we could easily imagine another check box to choose if curators (or at least managers) are allowed to send images in the comments section of the studio.

The purpose of studios is to organize a bunch of projects together. It's not really meant to chat. The comments section of a studio is more to ask whether a certain project can be added to a studio, or whether a certain user can be invited/promoted.

Regardless, there are some studios out there with the purpose of chatting. Even aside from the whole “spam” problem, there are other problems with this. Studios aren't really “out in the open”, so to speak. A lot of them are hidden from the rest of the website, which allows for an increased chance that an inappropriate image could be posted without getting reported.

This is especially important because a lot of people use studios for “private” messaging anyway (I know it's not 100% private), which is a little dangerous in itself.

I think the forums are a better place to post images, anyhow. I can't really see it working in any comment section.

Check while you're chatting

There are many facets to image moderation which I don't think Scratch has the resources to implement. (innapropriate text, NSFW, etc)
