Thank you! I was making a topic, but I couldn't find a good way to describe it without sounding like I was making a review.

I really like Freedom Planet. The mechanics and controls are solid and each character playing differently adds tons of replay value.

It's too unique to be denounced as a Sonic ripoff/clone, in my opinion.

Freedom Planet is one of my favorite 2D platformers, but I'm not a big fan of the story. I like most of the characters, but the story and voice acting can be really hit-or-miss. Like with the Sonic series, I think the serious/dark moments fall flat.

I like the story overall though. The characters are great and memorably written. You can remember most of the characters for at least one line.
I also like some of the cut voice clips. Many of them I wonder why they didn't leave in the final game.
Also, it's great that you can just copy-paste all the music and voice clips onto another device such as your phone.

Mayor Zao is one for sure. If you haven't found his chow mein war speech in the files, you should get on that.
Brevon is also a great character in my opinion. You know how Robotnik is this old fat guy, so that only what he throws at you is intimidating? Yeah, that is not Lord Brevon by any means. Every one of his lines is amazing. Even the unused one where, after revealing a horrifying plot point that, I mean, it could've been used for a sequel, he sings the Sound of Music. This is the only time you'll find him doing something dumb though.
I must say, though, his singing is wonderful.
Torque is also a great character. I don't know exactly how to describe it, but he just is.
Oh, here's how to describe it:
“*weird gasp* BREVOOOOOOOOO-nuh”
Milla is… I mean, she's pretty darn cute at times, I'll give her that, but uh… Something about her voice doesn't always sit well with me…
Oh, there's also Serpentine.

He's amazing.

Who else remembers that scene between Fortune Night and Sky Battalion with Brevon? I found the scene to be oddly specific, like it was setting up a scrapped plot twist or something.
