Fun fact, Scratch 1.4 used to have one.

They probably got rid of it for a good reason.

I don’t really have on opinion- on one hand, it’d be convenient, but why is it necessary to have one if you can do the exact same thing just the way you did there?

Either way, this is a suggestion, not a question. I’ll request it to be moved.

Wrong forum, and also, this was in Scratch 1.4, and removed.
It's not that hard to make a workaround, so no support.

Would the way it works be any different from this?

forever
if <> then

end
end

In that case, I don't see the point of adding a block that you can easily replicate in 5 seconds.

I don't support because there is not a specifical reason to add this. However, if you want to know if a scratcher is following you when you visit he/she's profile, you can make a Userscript ^^
I did so

Duplicate.

No support, it takes less than 10 seconds to put those two blocks together.

It was removed because many beginning Scratchers found it overly confusing. Showing the two functions that it performs as separate blocks seems to be easier for beginners to understand.

So, sorry, I don't think we are interested in seeing it come back at this time.
