A Game Controller For Scratch?

This is something that I really want for Scratch 3.0. I know with the PicoBoard and MicroBit you can plug them into the computer and interact with them to make them do stuff in your Scratch project, which is really cool, but I'd like something that is more similar to a video game controller. You know, just to make the playing experience for games more realistic. Reply if you think this is a good idea!

I don't think any company will be allowing Scratch to make game controllers. Also, duplicate, but can't find the link.
