Josh tinkason sat in the old rusty ute in the dry bare paddock, there were sheep so thin you could practically see their bones through their skin, and the last blade of grass probably died months ago. The old bare trees stood there like human statues, the time they had a single leaf long forgotten, and the blazing sun scorched the rusty ute that it was literally like touching a burning hot oven. Nearby, the hole that had once been a dam was bare and empty, with a dead sheep in it. But the worst of all that was the flies. The buzzing, itchy, and just so annoying flies, the dogs had got so annoyed, that they always ran around Crazy trying to shake the stupid things off. There was never a moment when a fy was not touching you, and there were so many that you could see them buzzing around up in the bare unpromising cloudless sky.

Josh hated it, it had not rained a single drop on their property for a stupid two years, and how were they supposed to grow crops and breed animals on the dry hard cracked ground…
