I didn't want to reveal anything personal, but I can't find the magazine, so. It was for the official Thomas the train magazine. There were only about a dozen winners, and they got a regular version of thomas, but with gold on the wheels (I could not find an image of that anywhere on the internet. If you can, let me know). It could be somewhere around my room, but I lost it. And the contest wasn't really a contest, it was more of a sweepstake (I should have specified that)

It had SO MANY COOL IDEAS! The ghost world, the different stories in each room, weapon crafting, PROPER GAMEPLAY AND BEING ABLE TO USE THE CORK GUN ANYWHERE.

If anyone is curious as to what happened… no joke, the company heads called it “too innovative” and said “we don't innovate, if it works we ship it”, fired 50 employees, then the 2 people in charge just slapped together the assets into a new game in 2 weeks. The result wasn't good. I feel like the fact they had merch coming out they needed to meet the deadline for didn't help (especially since 5 years after the only chapter's release, and 4 years after it was made free on, then shortly after, delisted from Steam, you can STILL find the merch on Walmart shelves).

I remember one of the trailers showed you able to actually battle Grieves unlike how in the final game, the second you step onto the cork gun platform… he flies away. Heck, there was an enemy named Frenzy they teased… and then in the final game the second you get close to her, she just flies away and doesn't come down.

We could've had a great entry in the mascot horror genre, a game not afraid to be different, and going off some old social media posts, much darker. But it just wasn't meant to be.
