[SEARCHING THREAD] Is there any piece of media that you’re looking for? + Lost Media Discussion Thread
Idk if this would be lost media but I'd literally heard nothing about it.here's some questions to answer to give us hints about what the heck this is, cos i have no idea!
There was a show on metflix when I was young (like I think rly young) and I don't remember any episodes. I only remember the fact it was one of those non-verbal shows where its just random incoherent grunts, the main character was this kid and a dog (there was definitely a pet, probably not a dog) and the humour at some points was more gross out I think. The kid also lived alone and I remember an ep where his assumed ‘uncle’ visits and he literally hates it lol.
It's probably really obvious and I'm just dumb ;-;
1) what year do you think you saw this last?
2) do you believe the show was in english? if not, what language?
3) where do you think the show aired? if you can't guess, then what region netflix did this stream on - usa, canada, uk?
4) what was the art style?
5) was the background plain?
6) do you believe the show was anthology?
1). I think it was somewhere around the early 2010s like let's say between 2013 to 2014
2). The show had 0 speaking, it was mostly just characters making noises
3). I think my country is under EU law, if not then its probably under UK since we're closer to there
4). It was 3D, I remember the art style having a distinctive clay looking style, the animation was quite detailed as I remember the movements being quite detailed
5). The background wa(if you're regarding the literal bg in the show) was in a house, quite a big one and it was quite dull. Imagine the Adams family house basically. I'd you mean the shows background then I think it was just made as a random idea as a board meeting
6). It was a standalone series, literally nothing else I have seen has reminisced the show or is similar to it. I would know if I saw it.
Some details I think might help:
1. The kid lived by himself
2. He had a very round head and his eyes were beady. He has a singular strand of hair which was dark brown and stuck up in a sort of curl. His clothes were white dull too.
3. There was always this ‘favorite’ chair he liked. I remember in the episode his uncle comes over but he hates it for some reason. There's a part where the kid tries to rig his chair to get rid of him by launching him lol.

it had horrible ratings when it's only episode aired for the only time ever, but it's still such a weird piece of media history and caused a lot of controversy at the time. news sources commented on the controversy. that's why it has a wikipedia article.so, there was this weird sitcom from 1990 called “Heil Honey, I'm Home” that was about one of history's worst dictators (you can tell which one by the title). it was cancelled after only one episode had aired (that aired episode is properly archived), but it had 7 more episodes produced that went unaired and lost. plus, it likely has even more unproduced episodes that only exist as scripts. the show was cancelled for… obvious reasons… but i still feel like the episodes should be properly archivedWhat's weird is that it actually has a Wikipedia article, so it must've been at least somewhat popular to get 17 sources deemed as “reliable”
tbf i think it's a good thing Heil Honey remains lost. yeah, all media should be preserved, BUT THIS IS ABOUT (the guy) AND HIS WIFE AND THEIR JEWISH NEIGHBOURS.To be fair, that was the point: to make something that seemed controversial on the surface but is actually quite tame when you actually watch it. That was it's downfall. There have been many comedic depictions of that guy, but most have portrayed him as evil. I still think it deserves to be found as it's such a weird moment in TV history.

“Dark humor is the way some people cope with tragedy.”– a talking piece of green gelatin, but he has a point

(#1204)I think you're looking for Prodigy Math, as I remember a minigame called Tower Town where the premise was to help Floatlings (the floating things) build different things with colorful blocks, but probably not, as the blocks were blue and all you could build was just towers with trees on top to “counteract the Puppet Master's shadow spells.”
Description: Floating thing builds different things with colorful blocks
If not, I don't know. Maybe Brixity or however you spell it? I remember the protagonist (a “MyPo”) had a floating robot assistant and you do get to build structures in that game that range from houses to concerts to castles using colorful blocks, called “brix.” There were also so-called “special” Brix that were things like lightbulbs.

i remember this old maths game where a bunch of space invaders guys had their pixels stolen and you had to complete a bunch of maths games to get them back. it was mostly paid and only let you do the first space invader in the free trial. i think it was called maths club?

Here's another one because it's bothering me now ;-;
It was a maths game on some website (it wasn't a popular one I think) and it was a sort of invasion thing. I remember this one level where in the bottom left corner there was this widget with a real life hallway and down the hallway was this robot. The objective was to finish the puzzle before it reached the end of the hallway.
The robot was like a sort of Metroid dread looking thing. There was a level system and in-between each level was this video transmitting from this guy telling you what to do. There were also these sort of tubes you had to collect that had green in them, radioactive I guess?
Help meh :V (again)

Those might be our best leads. If you have a hazy memory of the names, you can mention some possible names for the site and game.

I actually have a story with something
I heard a song on the radio once. I knew the title (I will not specify but i know its the name of a horror movie villain ) and the creator's “stage name” started with F. Fast-forward like a week or so and i searched the title on shazam to try and track it down (it was easier to search it on a music app than on google) and i saw something that could be it. I remembered the beat as well so when i listened to it i INSTANTLY realized it was the one. If you want to listen to it than good luck trying to find it i tried searching it but restricted mode blocked it
(btw im the queen of the 65th page)
