Hello i was wondering if the image of Momo (a popular meme) that shows a creepy figure of a human-bird hybrid is banned? i know the site ROBLOX banned it, and i saw no momo projects on scratch.

After doing a little bit of research, I'd say no, that thing is nightmare fuel and it's been related to a suicide. Soooo… No

Scratch doesn't allow scary content as it's a kid's site, though I doubt Momo has been banned specifically- she's just covered under that rule. Momo also has the malicious text game attached to her, so I don't think she could be discussed on the site either as it could put users at risk.

I would say no. I looked it up out of curiosity once since my friend was talking about how he was scared by it, and it almost brought me to tears. (To add onto this: I'm 13 years old and I rarely get scared of things, and my friend is about 14.)
I also almost saw it a couple weeks ago while scrolling through a site (I recognized the eyes immediately). It was in one of those “repost or you'll find this at the end of your bed tonight” and I haven't been back to the site since.
Besides the fact that teens, most likely even adults were scared of it, I'd like to point out that it can very easily upset users who have automatonophobia, which is the fear of things such as wax figures, humanoid robots, etc. (I have it to some degree, usually the “realistic but also really not” freaks me out). i've pretty much only been on scratch, deviantart, and drawception lately since i've heard of the meme since they're pretty much the only sites that i haven't heard of the image spreading at yet, and kinda stopped using discord since my friend says that's where the meme got shared with him

Yeah, I'm almost an adult and kind of decent with horror and I jump whenever I initially see the Momo image even after viewing it a few times. If it can make someone who's pretty much an adult uncomfortable, it's definitely inappropriate for scratch.

Wait, Momo is a creepypasta now? I remembered it from when the image started as a “real life Tsuyu Asui” to prove a point that anime character anatomy looks horrible in real life… But yeah, I'm pretty sure it's banned.

Most likely, as the case with Ugandan Knuckles. Momo is used as a caricature of suicide, I think.

I think it's most likely just due to the fact that Momo looks really terrifying to some people, especially people with automatonophobia.

I looked it up and I didn't find it scary(then again I LIKE being scared), but just don't use it on Scratch.

Momo is a caricature of a bird properties put on a human head, the suicide story came like 2 months after.

Plus it's a lot easier to make a bear or wolf not scary. This.. this is pure nightmare fuel.
