My browser / operating system: Windows 8.1, Firefox 61.0, Flash 30.0 (release 0)

Whenever i right click in the editor, i cant type anything. I cant type costume words,

say []
think []
wait () secs
ask <[] < []> and wait
add [] to [list v]

blocks,
and anything else that need typing.

It's a bug in Firefox. Use Chrome or Edge and you should be okay. Or the short term workaround is to click on something outside of the Scratch window but the next time you do a right mouse click on Scratch the problem could be back again.

I don't know if this will work but you could also try holding shift and clicking as a replacement for right-click - they have the same function

I'm experiencing the same problem where right clicking will cause me not being able to type anything.

There another bug when using Scratch with Firefox when sometime using Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V and Shift doesn't really do anything such as copying and pasting, making perfectly horizontal and vertical line, etc. Sometime, it's a bit frustrating because i use Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V and Shift a lot. It doesn't happens always, but it happens sometime, sometime Ctrl and Shift work, sometime it doesn't. Not sure what it's causing.
