Ban "Ban (x)"

Why do people always make topics such as:
Ban Bayonetta
Ban FNaF
Ban Star Wars

Just report any inappropriate content, too violent, gory or bloody, etc

Some of these games or movies or stuff have games like: Dress up Freddy! or something which isn't inappropriate so banning it altogether isn't a good idea.

EDIT: Not saying it should be completely banned, just want it to be like unrecommended or something

Your topic would get banned if your suggestion got accepted.

No support, what if it should be banned? Like somthing like an 18+ movie that was covered in swearing and violence? Or an inappropriate site. Yes, some of those topics are spam, but some do get considered, actually, semi support, maybe. But a little less.

That's why you report it? Those are the exceptions.

Support, it is possible to make a project based on an 18+ video game appropriate, although, it is hard to take away all those types of topics.

Support, not all things from a video game, popular movie, etc, are bad.

Semi-support. Obviously there are some things that shouldn't be mentioned at all here, but it's generally possible to make projects about and have conversations about mature media without getting inappropriate.

They're already banned as per the Community Guidelines; asking for them to be banned is redundant.

Because those are the exceptions. They are not the ones that should be reported. Instead of asking for a whole game to be banned on the forums, just report anything inappropriate.

I feel like this is just hypocritical; no support.
EDIT: Semi-Support, the Ban (x) topics are getting annoying, but you can't really ban them.

Neither will banning it? It still needs to be discovered and reported in the first place, and could be under a different name, just like FNAF projects to stop them from being removed from search. Banning it doesn't magically stop people making them, however makes it so moderator action is quicker since they don't have to make a judgement, just remove it if it's on a certain subject.

Anyway, support, too many people are making “Ban (x)” threads, if there's a problem the Scratch Team will fix it and if that involves banning something, they will. They only banned FNAF since schools were complaining and Scratch was getting blocked. If that wasn't happening, guess what, they wouldn't have cared about FNAF projects unless they were too violent. Banning more things means more time spent by moderators, meaning more moderators needed, meaning more money spent, meaning it's harder to support Scratch financially

Whilst it may be hypocritical, it's a very important discussion that invokes a lot of thought. It being hypocritical shouldn't be a reason to not support. I'm sure you've done many hypocritical things before and you wouldn't want people to drop all support for your ideas because of that.

Since it's the same, I don't see why we should change it.

Please be constructive, just saying same adds nothing to the discussion, don't decide on others ideas but instead think for yourself to decide.
