SURVIVORS by Erin Hunter is a great book series. The first book, The Empty City, in this series features a Lone-dog (a dog who survives without a Pack) named Lucky. He was part of simple life, roaming the streets of the city. Until one day, a great disaster came upon the wild, The Big Growl. The Big Growl shook the Earth-dog(earth) and brought destruction upon his glorious city. Lucky is faced with a challenge he'd never thought he'd come across, to depend on other dogs, and other dogs depend on him. In a longpaw (human) mall, Lucky finds his long lost litter-sister, and a couple of her Leashed-dog (owned by human) friends. They did not know how to survive the wild. Lucky had to show them how to live without being pampered by longpaws. When the dogs are threatened by Wild Pack, did Lucky stay? Or did he run? Read SURVIVORS by Erin Hunter to find out.
