For a couple of years, I have been working on a platformer called Tracker's Adventure which centers on a dog named Tracker who is on a quest to find his friends who have mysteriously disappeared on a camping trip.

For the main gameplay itself, Tracker's Adventure is a static platformer

However, I have been thinking that a static platformer would feel to constrained considering the nature of Tracker's Adventure so I think that a scrolling platformer would be much better. However, my knowledge on scratch is limited and I do not know how to make a scrolling platformer that runs smoothy or efficiently. That is why I need YOUR help. If you want to create a engine or you have one that runs smoothly and efficiently, please comment and provide an example project so I can judge your programming ability if you do do the former. You do not have to program the animation as I can do that myself. You can use this game for reference on the physics or animations.
