When I tried to shrink a sprite to 50%, it worked for the first try. But, when I grew it back to 100%, I couldn't shrink it to less than 83.3%!!!
Please please please fix this bug so that I can make projects again.

So, there is a possible explanation that I have had to deal with. Typically, my issue was either that the sprite was too big, or too small. If so, scratch usually scales it to whatever limits it seems to allow. If you would like to loophole that, however, give the sprite a second costume (one completely blank works fine, but having a sprite that's opposite in size of yours allows a lot of size change in the needed direction) and then changing the size in that costume seems to work, as size doesn't change when you switch to the intended costume.
