Do you know of any safe ways to upload audio to scratch?

Some of the methods I’ve tried are:

-Recording from Scratch but the audio comes out sounding weird
- Quicktime player which again, doesn’t record audio that well
- MP3 online converters which work well but I’ve stopped trusting them

Whenever I need to upload sound, MP3 converters are the best option, In my opinion.
The one I use seems safe.

The recordings on scratch might no sound well because the microphone isn't that good or you have a lot of background noise, some tips are you can record in a closet or pillow fort. (Cloth will dampen the background noise) If you are using an external microphone speak to the side of if it (minimizes plosives, a big gush of air the comes with the ‘p,’ ‘th,’ and other similar sounds.) If you are using a computer microphone (most of those have ok quality) go in a cool environment or just turn the AC on so the computer will not have to use computer fan and the noise form the fan will not mess up your recording. Also speak to your screen if possible (again to minimize plosives). And always speak loudly and clearly for the microphone to pick up the sound. If you want music in your project try finding your music on YouTube, Vimeo, or any other video hosting site and use a YouTube to mp3 converter to convert the music to audio you can upload to scratch, just remember to give credit the the video creator in the project when used. Hope this helped!
