How do I make a multiplayer shooter game?

It would be extremely tricky, since there is now a 128 char limit for cloud vars. Also, MathMathMath's multiplayer tutorial series is outdated, So it only works with the old cloud, which we can no longer access. I believe this works though: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/205282370/

Yea need help on that one when I try to add the shoot clones to one of the multiplayer sprites it just doesn’t work.
