Hello. I was following powerpoint89's tutorial,when then I tried to create my fourth category. I followed step by step the tutorial,but it gave me error “key not found”. I didn't find nothing wrong,then I clicked a bit of times “proceed” and then the error changed to “message not understood: extent”.

Steps I did:
1) adding the category to the list.

2) adding the color

3) error 1

4) after clicking “proceed” a few times, it gives me this

There's no feature named Category.

Have you created a graphic for the new category button? Last time I checked you have to do that.

Yup.

I'm going to make three assumptions here:

1. You're using Windows
   
2. You're using Paint
   
3. You're saving as a GIF file
   

If these assumptions are correct, or at least the first two, you should know that, from experience, the version of Squeak used in Scratch, for whatever reason, doesn't like reading ScratchSkin from files made in paint. I haven't used Squeak in a while, mostly because my school computers block all unsigned exes (side note: I can run dlls from python, anybody know if I can run Squeak from a dll, and use python one way or another to draw the Display object?), but can you try a different editor and see if it works? Also, sanity check, but can you copy and paste your code as well as a screenshot of the names of the new ScratchSkin files you created? That way I can see if there are any weird errors.

Okay, I will upload it. By the way, I created two categories before, edited them with Paint.net and then redone the code. That worked, but not this time.

Hmm… that's definitely weird. I'll need to see what the code looks like and if you could upload the files to Dropbox or something like that, that would be great, so I could see if it's an issue with the file or with the code
