Front Page Info
Most VITAL page.
This page will have any really important news, a briefing of what is in the issue and some advertisements.
It will have the main article written by one editor and another one (or more if needed) that will be written by members chosen by a high-ranked member.

-Main Writer (almost every week as there may be special features occasionally)
-2nd co-ordinator (makes sure all of the page editors are on time and there are no empty roles for the week)
-Small article writer (one off editor who will write once about a selected subject)

2nd Page Info
A page about the scratch home page.
This page will have 4 columns: 1 on Featured Projects, one on Featured Studios, one on FPC and one on Scratch Design Studio. It will have the main article written by one editor and another one (or more if needed) that will be written by members chosen by a high-ranked member.

-Featured Project Article Writer (writes an article on featured projects)
-FPC Article Writer (writes an article on current FPC with quotes, history of the user and info about the projects chosen)
-Featured Studio Article Writer (writes an article on featured studios and their content)
-Scratch Design Studio Article Writer (writes an article on SDS, using a few projects from the studio per week) (fortnightly)
-2nd co-ordinator (makes sure all of the page editors are on time and there are no empty roles for the week)

3rd Page Info
A page full of ratings and reviews and reviewers.
This page will be full of reviews and ratings by review shops.

Roles Available (can be taken by a user or a shop)
-Project Review Article Writer (writes list of 5 recommended projects or writes reviews and ratings of some projects)
-Studio Review Article Writer (writes list of 5 recommended studios or writes reviews and ratings of some studios)
NOTE: When writing a review, please ask the permission of the owner of the thing you are reviewing.

You can suggest your work to be reviewed (it may not be.. but it is helpful and could get YOU noticed)

4th Page Info
A page full of things about Scratch Shops!
This page will include shop recommendations and adverts, articles from big shops, small shops and guides relating to shops.

Roles Available (can be taken by a user or a shop)
-Small Shop article writer (fortnightly)
-Guide writer/Q/A answerer (likely to be a non-regular job)
-2nd Co-ordinator (makes sure all of the page editors are on time and there are no empty roles for the week)

Advertising on this Page
You can only advertise shops on this page.

You can ask for a question to be answered in the Q/A or a guide to be made (if related) in any page.

5th Page Info
A page full of things about Scratch Features and Scratch 3.0
This page will include new features and people’s thoughts on them. It may also have suggestions from the forum with pros and cons. You can interview people with their views on 3.0 version.

-Small Article Writer (writes short stories) (fortnightly)
-2nd Co-ordinator (makes sure all of the page editors are on time and there are no empty roles for the week, manages advertising on page)

That would be great! I will put you down as an employee, but you must send me a test article before next Monday (a deadline test) and you will be a trainee until you prove yourself worthy of a higher status. When would you like to start writing articles (This may not actually be when you start due to staff lacking)?

-Answer some usual shop-starting FAQs with YOUR experience - it is nice to be listening to a person not a shop-robot!
-Feel free to add pics! (your orders, new banners)
-Write as YOU - sound like you
-Grammar and Punctuation (Editors will check but it is your job to write a publishable piece)
-Make it interesting (ask people what they want to read about)

Your 1st assignment as an employee is to try and find a small shop (hopefully different to yours) to write the weeks that you don't.
NOTE: Please follow forum as you will need to report regularly to show that you are active

I have been very successful, which shows even though I run a small shop it can be very rewarding. Seeing as this is the first issue I am in, I don't really know what to say (you know the feeling, like when you do something impressive and your expected to stand up and make a speech)I am hoping to encourage scratchers who aren't great, not active very much, or don't find scratch easy to do their best and (hopefully) to at some point make a shop.

When I started scratch I had no idea of what I was doing-I couldn't even make a cat walk one step without accidently making it turn a somersault!
I hope everyone find their talent (mines pen) and keep scratching!

This is very good and sound truthful, while encouraging people to run shops - this should be one of your aims

To be improved

Seeing as this is the first issue I am in, I don't really know what to say (you know the feeling, like when you do something impressive and your expected to stand up and make a speech).

You should put in your feelings… but sound professional. If you don't know what to say, just say less or come back another day to work on your article (this is why starting your article early is very helpful)

Your article has a good tone but needs more content… could you write an article as if you have just started your shop with tips on that please?

For Employees
These are just some things that you need to know:
-Articles are published on Mondays (but it takes time to put paper together.
-You only need to write the text, collect the pics and put your article on the forum - it will be put together later.
-We will start April 9th
-If you can’t do an article for a week, please tell us in advance (or find someone to write it)

-Review different things (eg. a game and a animation)
-Discuss with other article writers what you are reviewing or rating
-I suggest having one writer write Top 5, one reviews and one ratings
-Explain your choices in Top 5

For 2nd Co-ordinators:
-Your job is to make sure that YOUR section is up-to-scratch and in on time.
-You are like a deputy-manager so you do have authority to warn people of being replaced if they are consistently late or uncommitted without reason
-If anyone is not pulling their weight, please notify me.
-Be polite and only bossy when necessary
-Remind people of deadlines (espessially if they have less than 3 days left or are not weekly writers)

For Guide Writers or Q/A Answerers:
-Look in ‘Questions about Scratch’ Forum for questions and answer them or write a guide on it
-If you answer lots of questions on forums, people come to your profile with questions (see desk26's comments). This build you a reputation at the same time.
