Update: Looks like we're back. The database was overloaded, so I restarted it and it seems good now. Please let me know of any lingering issues.

I am trying to obtain a scratch Wiki account using my Scratch account (https://en.scratch-wiki.info/wiki/Special:ScratchLogin), but am unable to do so. I've tried three different codes, and I have read the page regarding verification code troubleshooting: https://en.scratch-wiki.info/wiki/Scratch_Wiki:Become_a_contributor/Verification_code_troubleshooting.

You were trying to log in while you do not have a Wiki account. You first need to request one, and here are the instructions on how to do that.

Please note that you are a New Scratcher, and you cannot request an account until you are a Scratcher (among other requirements listed in the account request instructions).

I have never once heard of this error occurring on Scratch, and if it does it's rare enough (and not specific enough to Scratch) to be worth documenting.

i don't know if you'd be allowed to continue to be a wiki editor if you got banned off of the main site. (i'm not exactly sure on this, could someone who actually runs the wiki correct me?)

Were you forcing them to make you join the Scratch Wiki?
Most of the time, mutes are for a reason, and some reports are for a reason. If you think it was a misfire, use contact us
Note that Scratch isn't 100% a social media site
