recent post about the “Ban” page of the Scratch Wiki. I mentioned that there may be some incorrect information on that page, and I wanted to let you know about what would be a good idea to change. Since bans are a sensitive subject in the Scratch community, I want to ensure that this information is in apple pie order to prevent misinformation from being spread.Everything you said makes sense to me, so I added your corrections with only a few slight modifications to wording. The one thing I didn't add was about the account creation warning - I know on Scratch 1.x there was a feature called “multiaccountwarn” that would show a warning before creating a new account if other accounts on the network were banned. I looked briefly through the source code for scratch-www and couldn't find anything similar, but I want to look more exhaustively before removing that claim from the article. Hi! Thank you! I do notice there are still sentences in the “Controversy” section with “citations needed,” particularly the claims about ignoring appeals and banning on the basis of religion. Were you planning to keep those, or did you happen to just miss them? I don't think there needs to be these un-cited sentences where Scratchers read them and assume the Scratch Team is just a bunch of bad apples as a result. Everything you said makes sense to me, so I added your corrections with only a few slight modifications to wording.

Hi Zach! I have a couple of points to raise (I'm sorry Personally I have never heard of the message listed in this “Account Creation Warnings” section, but that doesn't necessarily mean it doesn't exist. It's possible I have just never heard of it. It may be worth checking sources just to ensure that such a warning really does exist.Jacob if these sound boring to you); in particular:
Referring to the message quoted above:
this definitely used to exist many years ago, if this is what i'm thinking about, unsure about now and am not about to risk it
A user might be banned if they:
also i'd like to discuss, since this was neither on the wiki or zach's post, i was told that there was a rule that “3 alerts in two months -> ban”, pretty much, is this the case? should it be documented?
Thank you so much for taking the time to point this information out, and it will be taken into account when we revise the page in question.

This is not true in general. It may be clear that there are cases where a user may be banned after receiving less than 3 alerts in that timeframe, but there are also cases where someone could get more than 3 alerts in that timeframe and not be banned at all. It depends on what specifically they were alerted for, what they were alerted for in the past, possibly the number of times and reasons they got banned in the past, and possibly other circumstances. also i'd like to discuss, since this was neither on the wiki or zach's post, i was told that there was a rule that “3 alerts in two months -> ban”, pretty much, is this the case? should it be documented?

I don't think anything about this should be documented, unless you want to put in something like “The number of alerts a user receives is uncorrelated to when they will get banned.” I don't know if that's worth adding, though, since it doesn't really give any useful information.

At the bottom of the pick random block's page, under “workarounds”, the first example shown shows an item block with an “any” input to randomize the output, but neglects to mention an alternative, being the “random” input.

I just missed those. I have seen complaints on the forums of the ST ignoring/taking a very long time to respond to appeals, but I'm not sure how/if we should document that, given that the users may be lying for sympathy or may have sent disrespectful appeals. I removed it for now. Thank you! I know, but what I'm saying is that “random” can also be put in the input, but it's not mentioned on the page and it's the far more popular option. The “any” part tells it to pick a random item from that list.I know but it doesn't say anything about inputting “random”.pick random block's page, under “workarounds”, the first example shown shows an item block with an “any” input to randomize the output, but neglects to mention an alternative, being the “random” input. The article says to fill the list with possible numbers, and it will choose one of those. I see what you mean now. I updated it for clarity. I know, but what I'm saying is that “random” can also be put in the input, but it's not mentioned on the page and it's the far more popular option.
