Scratch Wiki Community Portal - in the forums!
Hey,
so I noticed that the scratch blocks won't show on the wiki which makes it really annoying for trying to code it in scratch. Is anyone else having this bug? And if so, is it being fixed? Thanks if anyone can answer!

I still am 99% sure that the problem is you are not submitting the request properly. You need to open the account request page, go to the verification project, comment the verification code, fill out your request notes, then hit the submit button to submit your request. Until you see a screen saying your request was submitted successfully, you have not actually submitted the request and thus we will not see it.I keep having this problem where my request won't show up I asked jvvg about it and they couldn't find it and when I checked the status of my account request it said there are no active requests under this username I did everything asked me to do and it still won't work could someone help mebumping this post help still

https://en.scratch-wiki.info/wiki/Ban#cite_note-9 is linking the wrong post. I searched up the exact string on Google and found post ID 3554538, but they accidentally forgot the 3 at the beginning so it ended up being post 554538 instead.

Hello - I would like to request that some of the wording on this article be changed: https://en.scratch-wiki.info/wiki/Collaboration_Accounts
The article seems to be stating that shared/collaboration accounts are simply “discouraged” by the Scratch Team (which many interpret that they are actually allowed), when in fact such accounts are not allowed, and will be blocked. I have recently seen some confusion from another Scratcher who seemed to think that shared accounts are allowed, but simply “discouraged.”
The only exception is shared accounts made by immediate family members (such as brother/sister or parent/child) — these sorts of shared accounts are allowed. Shared accounts between a teacher and their students are not allowed. Shared accounts between two cousins are not allowed. Shared accounts between two friends who know each other in real life are not allowed. Shared accounts between two Scratchers who don't know each other in real life are not allowed.
I'm not sure if other Scratch Team members handle these sorts of accounts differently, but I know that I just block any shared accounts that I see, not necessarily asking them to convert it to a single-user account. (Often these users already have a single-user account, so they are welcome to use those accounts to use Scratch.)
