Hi I have question: WHY DO I GET MUTED EVERY TIME I POST AN ASCII IT HAPPENS TO NO ONE ELSE?!?!?
It counts as spam. See here for more details.
Yeah, but how come I cant post them but other people can. thanks.
There's a thing specifically for New Scratchers (status on profile page) called the filterbot. It mutes users for a day due to phrases like password, email address, and even nugget (being oversensitive in preventing racism) triggering the filterbot. It mutes you from comments for the rest of the day and a Scratch Team member is notified so that the mute can be either removed or, if the comments were actually inappropriate, your account could be blocked.

but I just wrote an ASCII. And got muted for 20mins

Then maybe the ASCII art you posted was inappropriate.

The article about the Scratch Team is missing Amy (amylaser) as a Scratch Team member. Can someone please make that edit, so that the Scratch Wiki can be more accurate?
Seriously, why is everyone ignoring my constructive post and answering others' questions here?

We have an article about it on the Wiki
Wiki Wednesday is a Scratch News series run by the Scratch Team with suggestions from wiki editors, and is used to feature an article from the Scratch Wiki on the last Wednesday of every month in different languages. Each of the updates are posted on the Scratch News tab, and the Announcements forum. When an article is featured, editing on the article is protected from regular users to prevent spam and vandalism.

The Scratch Wiki is called a Wiki because Wiki is a generic term that refers to a collaboratively edited website that hosts some set of knowledge. Wiki Wednesday is on Wednesday so it can alliterate.

Wiki Wednesday can teach Scratchers something new and features articles and images in multiple languages. Wiki refers to the Scratch Wiki, Wednesday refers to the day of the week, and Wiki Wednesday is an alliteration that makes the Scratch Wiki fun!

Hello everyone,

Years ago I went ahead and created an account for the Scratch Wiki and probably did a few things, but I haven't really used it since. Any advice on getting back into the Wiki? Such as what stuff I can help with?

This is false. Although the link to edit the post that's on the bottom right corner of the post itself disappears, you can still edit the post if you kept the link. The link looks like this: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/post/9999999999999/edit/

I'm not sure how I can verify this though, since I can't upload images to the forums. Maybe a project that has screenshots could work?

Such page would likely be biased in Scratch's favour and would not be allowed on the wiki. Additionally, the content of such article would mostly be personal opinion.
