Bitmap is very fuzzy and hard to work with, and all my files are messed up.
Even when I upload a scalable vector file it still messes up.
And whenever I move the thing, the whole costume just becomes black.

There's a button near the bottom of the editor reading “Convert to Vector”. Click it and then upload the image.

Are you using Google Drawings? Just ungroup the file and delete the black shapes

Every picture you upload gets uploaded in Bitmap. You can't upload things in Vector.

Ok ok SO when you upload a scalable vector file (svg for short), there are black rectangles covering it. Idk why, but I do have a fix- ungroup the black rectangle (click the button on the bottom of the vector editor that appears when you click on the rectangle TWICE! It won't work otherwise) and delete the rectangle from there. I believe thats what you mean by “it still messes up”, if you have other problems, just ask

Yeah, I forgot about SVGs.
But not a lot of people know that SVGs exist and think they're probably limited to PNGs, JPGs, and GIFs.
