For some reason, I am coloring my backdrop blue over white, but whenever I completely cover the white with blue and I let go of the touch pad on my computer, the white part just comes back again. Why is this happening and how do I fix it?

Are you talking about how to upload images into the Scratch editor? If so, cube upload won't be necessary for that.

Scratch projects don't do that. It may just be a glitch, and you can try asking about it in the Bugs and Glitches forum.
