Is there a minimum Android version that is planned to support for Scratch 3? I tried it on my Asus Android 5.0.2 tablet and the sprites don't show up on the Stage when in project mode. They only show up in presentation mode, but they keep flashing.

I tried both on Chrome and Firefox. At webglreport.com i get green light for webgl1 on both Chrome and Firefox. Instead, for webgl 2, I get a warning saying that the browser supports webgl but that it is disabled or unavailable. At get.webgl.org I can see the rotating cube both in Chrome and Firefox.

You can give feedback by “Give Feedback” button.

Yes, I did. But I hoped I could have quick news about the planned support of old Android versions, so that, if needed, I can start asking my institution to buy new tablets for my students.

Good question. Currently we say “Mobile Chrome 62+” in the Preview FAQ, but we should probably be explicit about Android OS version. We have been testing with version 6+.

I tested it both in Chrome 65.0.3325.109 and FireFox 59.0.1. Please, let me know if you already know that Android 5 won't be supported.

I hope that Android 5 is supported. To be honest it's pretty irresponsible to not support anything that Google does, and Google supports everything from 5.0 up.

We are a tiny team (certainly much smaller than Google! ). We will try to support Android 5+, but we cannot guarantee anything.
