Interesting Dreams

Awhile ago there was a topic for dreams, but it was closed since dreams ‘are not inspiring’ however, I’ve made projects based upon my dreams, and even written whole stories based upon one dream, and several others have. Just saying this so it doesn’t get closed

So…. discuss interesting dreams you’ve had here! It can be funny dreams, weird dreams, etc, as long as it is interesting!

Maybe you’ll even inspire someone to write a story based on a dream!

Here is a weird one I had a month or so ago it might have been a lucid dream though

My OCs Shady and Cassette were dating (which they have been for awhile….) but then, later on, Cassette started dating Minty, and they kept it a secret from Shady. Then, Cassette told Shady what she was doing, and Shady was upset. There was more to it then that, but it’s pretty funny….

I think this was my mind telling me Minty x Cassette is better then Shady x Cassette, but Minty is WAY younger then Cassette (3 years difference!) and… yeah. But Minty and Cassette both are reformed villains, so it’s kind of fitting I guess?

Interesting Dreams

I had a dream quite a while ago and I thought it was pretty odd compared to my usual dreams. So this dream took place in around.. 2004? There was this dude making a Pokemon fangame but unfortunately died before he was able to finish the fangame. Fast forward many years later, people found this “lost” fangame and discovered it had many similarities to Pokemon Diamond and Pearl two years before its release. Rumors sprouted upon this finding, the 2 most popular rumors were 1) The person working on it may have been working in Nintendo at the time, 2) He got special information from Nintendo about Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. Also, nobody was able to finish the fangame for the creator

•Your life, and all the lives that believe in you…
•Will you put it on the line, and pull the final Needle?
►Yes ◽ No

Everyone should try to have a lucid dream at least once, it's a lot of effort but they are amazing

The most common method is to do reality checks (trying to push your fingers through your other hand, blocking your nose and seeing if you can still breath, trying to will yourself to fly etc) regularly so they get into your dreams aswell. It's important to actually do the reality checks and reaffirm in your head that you are awake. If you do it lazily because “you know you are awake”, you'll have the same attitude in your dreams. There's also a number of other methods like:

Personally I only tried the last one and never managed to do it properly because I couldn't fall sleep, but sometimes I got lucid dreams anyway just because I was so engaged mentally to try to get one

The coolest thing about lucid dreaming to me is how realistic they can make your dreams feel. I remember in my first lucid dream I was walking to next lesson at school when I realized I shouldn't be there. I started running around, and it felt just like real life (maybe even better because irl I have brain fog)

Ah, lucid dreams are great, aren't they? I've never had what I call a “true” lucid dream, because I've never taken the steps to achieve this, nor do I think I'll ever have a “true” lucid dream, but they are very cool. Being aware of yourself and what you're doing in your sleep, all while actually being in a deep slumber, is truly awesome. I've had those sort of dreams before, but they were more like dreams where I realized that I was asleep and that I knew it wasn't real but I've never reached that maximum level of lucid dreaming lol.

An old friend of mine was able to achieve lucid dreams by taking a special pill. I can recall that Buzzfeed recently put up a video displaying some of their employees taking a pill for a week to achieve lucid dreams (and I believe that they were unsuccessful with it). Although, my friend had success with it. The story has a very dark twist to it, and he wasn't actually trying to have lucid dreams, but rather he was looking for a cheap way to get high, but that's a story for another day and not on a children's site. I'm not trying to tell you to go and take a pill to get lucid dreams, I personally wouldn't, and they aren't addictive if you are wondering, my friend was just an idiot, but there's no reason to try and take a weird pill when you can do, just as StackMasher said, reality checks that can help you achieve lucid dreams.

Good luck! Just like StackMasher said, everyone should have at least one lucid dream in their lifetime.

I once had super-realistic dreams that lasted a few seconds…….
DO THEY COUNT AS LUCID?
I once had a dream about the Deku Princess. It wasn't lucid though, although I REALLY wish it was. I had more ‘realistic’ dreams AGES ago.

Nah, if you weren't aware you were in a dream then they were just vivid

Interesting Dreams

In 4th grade I had a dream where my best friend was marrying a giant dog in a white tux

I have no idea why, before you ask

I also had a dream AROUND a year and a half ago where 2 guys where playing Super Mario 64 but lemons, and I thought it was so funny I woke up laughing(there were more than just lemons, but yeah, lemons was the main point)

When I was 3 I had one where I was just looking at an orange, I'm not joking

AND THEN when I was 10 I was dreaming that I was said orange and some chubby toddler was staring at me for most of it

There was another one when I was 3 when I was staring at an aquarium, but I haven't had one where I was the aquarium yet, so yay me

Up until a month ago though I basically didn't dream except for once every 2-3 months
