Clone Specific and Global Variables

As many of you know, it is impossible to edit a variable within a clone that can be used by other clones or sprites; It only uses the variable for itself. This makes many things difficult, however I have an idea: Clone Specific and Global Variables. There could be a checkbox when you create the variable, similar to the “Run without screen refresh” checkbox for custom blocks, that could choose between two settings: Clone Specific, which can be used individually with every sprite or clone, and Global, which can be edited by any sprite. This is just an idea, but it would be great if it were integrated in some way.

Thanks!

Clone Specific and Global Variables

When creating a variable/list for a sprite, there's an option that lets you choose between “for all sprites” and “for this sprite only.” Selecting the latter makes the variable “clone specific”

Clone Specific and Global Variables

Well, this already exists. “For this sprite only” represents a local variable, and “For all sprites” represents a global variable.
