Unknown Drumming Game (Could be Taiko No Tatsujin ripoff)
We were wondering about this game on the Engrish topic.
If you know or have played it, discuss here!
From the Engrish topic:
The game next to Pikachu is a drumming game. I don't really know much about drums so I can't really say what kind of drum that is. It's either taiko or bongo, I'm guessing, because ‘daiho’ is a mistranslation of ‘taiko’.OMG it says ‘Daiho’ not ‘Taiko’
can someone please tell me what is happening in this picture? is that a monkey in a hoodie playing a gigantic bongo in the background?? is that a man in a dog costume dancing with an octopus woman and a giant blue ghost on the screen??? why does pikachu look like he's about to commit murder?? i have so many questions
Also, the characters on the screen…… you may want to look up the game. It's on Wikipedia. I've not really read that article.
The monkey in the hoodie? If you mean the thing at the very top, that's Don-chan. I've only ever played one game with him in (Mario Kart Arcade GP DX), and that's how I know his name. If you mean the thing next to the ‘FIRE WORKS’ thing, that's a stork.
Also, the ‘giant blue ghost’ looks like an inverse version of this:
(Also a bootleg)
Also, the Pikachu close-up is kinda creepy.
Also, there was a small kid playing the drum game when this picture was taken.
The drum game says ‘14’ on it. The PS2 version of that game is around 17 years old, so the'14' must represent the fact that the game is a 14th anniversary, so they used characters from different franchises to celebrate.
Note the Thanksgiving kiddy ride behind Pikachu.
Also, have yet another image. This is from Taiko no Tatsujin: Atsumete Tomodachi Daisakusen!. It was taken straight from the Animal crossing Wiki.
Also, a project for reference (not by me):
